Your work may involve testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of the electrical components. In addition, you may read and interpret blueprints and specifications, as well as remain current on electrical code specifications for the area.Building on the Industrial Electrical Technician One-Year Certificate program, this coursework will provide an introduction to the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical circuits, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and other mechanical systems, making you job-ready for an entry level position as an electrical maintenance technician.
